Certainly there are pivotal moments in human history that stand apart. I have seen treaties on great inventions many rank Guttenberg’s printing press as the greatest invention since the wheel because it drastically improved the democratization of education from those who were elite to everyman. I believe the internet follows exactly in that tradition and allows/enables everyman to communicate with everyman. Libertine those are all great inventions.
